About my Modifications
I started playing LSPDFR around the start of Covid, and began taking an interest in creating my own plugins during the summer of 2020. I released my first plugin, Yobbin Callouts, in August of that year, and it remains my primary focus with my development. I simply strive to offer everyone a more realistic and enjoyable experience through my plugins. Despite my limited knowledge of coding at the beginning, I really loved the creative aspect of creating LSPDFR plugins and being able to simply create solutions to issues instead of asking others to.
About Me
I'm Matthew, a student from Toronto, Canada, and am currently studying Aviation. I'm a pilot and full-time student. I first learned programming in high school using the Processing IDE (Java). My other interests include computers and technology, photography, music, and video games. Interestingly, I really dislike math and calculations despite having an interest in programming. You can sometimes find me as a Community Helper on the RagePluginHook Discord Server.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can You Make ____ Callout/Mod? - Maybe! I always love hearing feedback and getting interesting and new requests. The best way to request something for the mod is via Discord. The same thing goes for bug reports/other improvements.
Are You Still Alive? - Yes, at least for now. Unfortunately I am very busy outside of summer, so I don't have much time during the school year to develop, hence the often longer times between updates. I generally consolidate updates into major releases, so each update will usually have lots of new features meaning it will be a while before the next one. Occasionally a hotfix update will be available after the release of a new version for bug fixes and potentially new features, as well as other improvements.
What Future Projects are You Working on? - Right now I'm just focusing on my main callout pack. I've got a lot of really exciting things planned for it, as well as adding new callouts and improving existing ones. I've had requests to make more specific callout packs like Fort Zancudo, so that's always a possibility.
